Minifootball
TV DOCUMENTARY
Our first full-length documentary about small football produced directly for Czech Television. The film was shot in October and November 2023 in the United Arab Emirates, where the Czech national team participated in the World Cup. It saw the light of day in May 2024.
PERSONAL STORIES
The plot does not focus only on the sporting aspect of the tournament itself. The personal stories of the selected players, who were offered a second chance by the small football after their careers in big football had stalled for various reasons, are the main storyline. The film thus straddles the line between sports and social documentary.
